FAQS

Do I receive a certification after I complete the course? What does accredited mean?

Yes! Upon successful completion of the Certificate IV in Group Pilates & Fitness Instruction, you’ll receive a nationally accredited qualification. Being accredited means our course is recognised by the Australian Government through ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority). This ensures your certification is industry-recognised, meets strict quality standards, and allows you to gain professional insurance and employment as a Pilates and group fitness instructor.

What is the logbook and why do I need to complete it?

In order to gain your nationally recognised qualification, you must complete a logbook of practical hours. This ensures you have real, hands-on teaching experience before becoming an instructor.

The logbook requires:

80 hours of observations of classes

40 hours conducting classes

40 hours of personal development

This structured experience builds your confidence and ensures you’re fully prepared to step into the industry as a qualified instructor.

Do I need prior experience in Pilates or fitness?

No prior experience is required! Whether you’re brand new to fitness or already working in the industry, this course is designed to guide you step by step. You’ll learn everything from Pilates foundations through to advanced group class instruction, with plenty of practical and theory support along the way.

You’ll need access to:

1. A laptop, PC, or tablet with internet connectivity

2. Writing materials for in-class activities

3. Access to reformer equipment, basic gym equipment, and practice bodies

4. Most importantly — a passion for helping people move!
